What is She Loves Golf?

I run a range of She Loves Golf events at Omaha Beach Golf Club and Warkworth Golf Club, including classes, on course events, and more. These classes and events are designed to provide a pathway from learning the basics, to being able to confidently go out on the course and actually PLAY GOLF!!

My aim is to make golf as approachable and accessible as possible. That means playing your own way and creating a community around you who will support you on your journey. Not everyone wants to play competitive golf, so I will encourage you to find your own path and make sure you enjoy the process along the way.

Beginner Classes

These classes are perfect for women who are new to golf and want to learn the fundamentals in a fun, relaxed environment. No experience or equipment is needed - just turn up and enjoy.

I will introduce you to the fundamentals of putting, chipping, full swing and driver. Just the right amount to get started without being overwhelmed, and enough to feel capable to join in with friends and family.

Intermediate Classes

These classes are ideal for players who have learned the basics and are ready to build confidence on the golf course. We’ll work on the skills required to play on course, keep score and work towards gaining/reducing your handicap. These classes are recommended for players who have completed the Beginner Programme and/or taken some private lessons, and have been on the course a few times.

Play With Confidence: On-Course events

Heading onto the course can feel daunting, so these events are designed to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. You’ll play with a group of like-minded women who are all at a similar stage in their golf journey.

We play a fun Two-Person Ambrose format—enter as a pair, or on your own and we’ll sort a team for you.

How it works:

  1. Both Players hit their tee shot.

  2. As a team, choose the best shot, collect your balls and move them to that spot

  3. Everyone hits again.

  4. Repeat this process until the ball is holed.

  5. Move to the next tee and continue!

We use relaxed “It’s OK” rules—these events are all about learning, having fun and gaining confidence to play your way! But we are also available to ask questions and start to figure out some of the more serious parts of golf.
