What is She Loves Golf?
She Loves Golf is a nationwide initiative offering events, promotions and opportunities at golf clubs and driving ranges around the country—designed specifically for women. The goal is to show that golf isn’t the stuffy, elitist sport it’s often assumed to be. It’s an inclusive, ageless game with plenty of ways to play: you can be active, socialise with friends, wear your gym gear on the green, play as many holes as you like, and even choose not to keep score.
We run a range of She Loves Golf events at Omaha Beach Golf Club and Warkworth Golf Club, including classes, on course events, and more.
She Loves Golf Beginner Classes
These classes are perfect for women who are new to golf and want to learn the fundamentals in a fun, relaxed environment. No experience or equipment is needed - just turn up and enjoy.
Our coaches will introduce you to the fundamentals of:
putting
chipping
full swing
driver
She Loves Golf Intermediate Classes
These classes are ideal for players who have learned the basics and are ready to build confidence on the golf course. We’ll work on the skills required to play on course, keep score and work towards gaining a handicap. Recommended for players who have completed the Beginner Programme and/or taken some private lessons, and have been on the course a few times.
Chip and Sip Events
Heading onto the course for the first time can feel daunting, so these events are designed to make the experience relaxed and enjoyable. You’ll play with a group of like-minded women who are all at a similar stage in their golf journey.
We play a fun Team Ambrose format—enter with a team of up to four, as a pair, or on your own and we’ll sort a team for you.
How it works:
Everyone hits their tee shot.
As a team, choose the best shot, collect your balls and move them to that spot
Everyone hits again.
Repeat this process until the ball is holed.
Move to the next tee and continue!
We use relaxed “It’s OK” rules—these events are all about learning, having fun and gaining confidence to play your way!
